a note on Centos, Fedora Core, and Red Hat from a 3rd' party
I had a chance to revive a user's RH 3 server box. But the hard drives are worn. So a new box has to be provisioned. in the process the linux apps guy commented Fedora is good for development, centos is good for production if you don't want to buy RH. at which time a disruption at centos erupted, and caused a shock in the linux community, you can still view the open letter at http://www.centos.org/
