moved a PC out of an office which has direct connection to the DC/file server to a branch office. the pc failed connecting to the internet. It is very slow to logon unless unplug the cable at the remote site.
went down to the cached credentials, no luck. the loaded AVG was showing not being updated.
run malware scan, found zlob trojan with various permutations. run microsoft security essentials to clean the remnants, as well as another malware - tiny-proxy.
Microsoft security essentials and malwarebyte's anti-spyware are highly recommended.
