 Outlook  16.0.13801.20266 ; cursor jumps everywhere could not type reply properly

this happened when onboarding a client to MS 365

I did an update

the problem persists

then noticed two office install on this windows 10 machine

office 365 apps

and

ms office

I had to remove then all

and did a restart

then reload from portal.office.com

then it seemed normal
