The Nokia WiFi Beacon 2 typically uses the subnet 192.168.18.0/24 when configured as a router. You can change this subnet by accessing the device's web GUI.
To change the subnet:
Connect your computer to the Beacon: Use an Ethernet cable to connect your computer directly to the Beacon's LAN port.
Set your computer's IP address manually: Configure your computer's network settings to use a static IP address within the 192.168.18.0/24 range, for example, 192.168.18.100 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0.
Access the web GUI: Open a web browser and navigate to 192.168.18.1.
Log in: Enter your administrator password (usually found in the Beacon's documentation or the Nokia WiFi app).
Navigate to network settings: Find the section in the web GUI related to network configuration, IP addresses, and subnets.
Change the subnet: Locate the subnet field and modify it to your desired subnet.
Save changes: Apply the changes by saving the new configuration.
Restart the Beacon: Reboot the Beacon for the changes to take effect.
Note: If you are unsure of the subnet your Nokia WiFi network is using, you can find it in the Nokia WiFi app under the network settings
