continuing my struggle with OAB. press CTRL+ right-click on the outlook icon on the notification area. click
test email autoconfiguration. there is a response to the autodiscover.externaldomain.com
But there is a warning about the certificate because the cert on the server is not the same name.
No luck, outlook keeps prompting me for username/password, this is for the OAB.
the only progress is I got the address book URL
https://exch.mydomain.com/OAB/ba11614f-4e10-48e6-9872-375008c99cda/
tried to logon manually,.. no luck, keeps asking for u/p.
I wonder I need double check the internal OAB settings according to http://www.shudnow.net/2008/11/18/autodiscover-dns-certificates-and-what-you-need-to-know/

Exchange 2010 OAB problem
well, I still got OAB errors in Exchange 2010.
OABGen could not generate full details for some entries in the offline address list for address list '\ xxxx
it seems there is no cure as of yet.

OAB and hosted exchange 2010
http://blogs.msexchange.org/silva/2008/05/22/exchange-shared-hosting-and-addressbookroots/

I followed above articles. But I can't get OAB to work.
there is an entry addressbookroots2 in addition to addressbookroots.
my setup is Windows 2008 + Exchange 2010.
hopefully, this is not related to autodiscovery as indicated in various forums.
So far, I get OWA working and I get outlook anywhere working with outlook 2007.
