outlookanywhere outlook 2010 beta or outlook 2003/2007, does it matter?

quite tricky for me, when I put another test domain on my test box.

outlook20033/outlook2007 threw me an error "The name cannot be matched to a name in the address list".

But in outlook 2010 beta, I can configure outlook anywhere. it seemed working.

import csv contacts into public folder (exchange 2003)

no direct way to do that. import to personal folder first. then copy to public folder.

got a range error when directly import excel file.

then try csv format, this time outlook will install some translater. then it will ask for some match fields which is good.

use different signatures in outlook 2007 and outlook 2003

of course, you need create multiple signatures first in outlook.

in outlook 2007, its simple, there is a big button in the menu signatures, click on that you can switch to a list of available signatures.

in outlook 2003, need a signature to be the default one, then right-click on the signature in outlook, then you can switch to other signatures.

outlook 2003 test message filtering

in outlook 2003 setup test message, this message can be rejected by a smtp server.

in this case, File-new message should work if configured properly.

on the other hand, I had seen Outlook XP test message can go through some smtp server, but real-life message failed going through.
