Windows server backup wont backup exchange 2007

in the good old days, NTbackup can backup exchange 2003 to a monolithic file.

but, in windows 2008, the builtin windows server backup can't do that anymore.

    some microsoft's answer is to use their D.P.M or a third party solution like brighstor or backupexec
