downloaded MSDN W7 - beta. installed as Windows 2008 Hyper-V VM. it worked straight after the installation. it comes with ie8 beta. there is a new thing called homenetwork(?) upon first start-up. this home-networking thing is bit like setting up a workgroup network, but with an additional system generated password.
the computer performance scale is 1.0~7.9. however the VM can't be rated.
the version I got is Windows 7 Ultimate v.6.1 (build 7000)
