boot to dsrestore mode .... forgot ds recovery password
use ms desktop pack (?) to recover / reset it
once ad is corrupted on the pdc, the windows 2003 wont start ... gave some ad errors,
you can notice nTbackup would fail on that
I sorta of recovered to a stage that the pdc will boot, exchange 2003 will work (exmerge will work)
but ntbackup still fail, it means the ad is still corrupted
i noticed netlogon folder is not on sysvol...
This proves using imaging solutions for backup is Not enough, because it can't tell whether the data is corrupted or not , or when it is corrupted
