setup an legacy panasonic DP-8020E MFC printer on windows server 2012
the surprise is Panasonic does have a windows 2012 server driver for such an old model.
the tricky thing is that the model I am working on hasn't got a PCL module, or so I think,
I tried PCL driver fruitlessly, finally got the GDI driver working, didn't dare to try the PS driver.
who would think that huge monster wouldn't have a PCL module? PCL driver prints null, but it wont give an error.
