recovering / troubleshooting a windows 2003 server blue screen STOP C000021a , fatal system error
the windows subsystem system process terminated unexpected with a state 0xc0000006
the system has been shut down
windows 2003 server, started to blue screen, upon login, the hard drive thrashes, eventually to blue screen.
tried last know config, no luck
replaced the video card, Network card, no luck
but it can boot to safe mode, and it can boot like normal when there is no NIC configured.
well, more credit to their software guy, eventually found out a 3rd party mail server named MD was crashing the system. once the md is disabled, the system can sort of boot to normal mode.
lesson learned, it's still a process of elimination, if it can boot to safe mode, then disable all start-up items and non-MS services to see what happen next
