Here are the 3 cloud based Trash Bins, and whether or not there is any automated deletion:

 

My Google Drive Trash Bin <= Trash in here is NEVER automatically purged. This is an extra safety feature.

My Google Photos Trash Bin <= Trash in here is automatically purged after 60 days.

My Gmail Trash Bin <= Trash in here is automatically purged after 30 days.
