Windows Recall is a new Windows 11 feature that records everything that you do on your PC so that you can search it later
To enable Windows 11 Recall, you can:
- Go to Settings
- Select Privacy & security
- Select Recall & snapshots
- Move the toggle switch to On for the Save snapshots option
You can also enable or disable Recall from Turn Windows features on or off.
Recall is a feature that saves snapshots of your screen and stores them locally. You can use Recall to: Retrace your steps, Analyze snapshots with screenray, Interact with elements in the snapshot, Pause or resume snapshots, and Search for content related to your app.
Here are some things to keep in mind about Recall:
- Recall requires Secure Boot to be enabled to save snapshots.
- Recall is not enabled by default.
- You can configure the amount of storage Recall can collect.
- You can uninstall Recall by unchecking it in Turn Windows features on or off, pressing Okay, and restarting your computer.
