dcdiag and netdiag fail,

file:/// give me permission error
cannot access sysvol and netlogon permission error

dcdiag shows
Failed can not test for HOST SPN

Failed can not test for HOST SPN

* Missing SPN null)

* Missing SPN null)

dhcp client service not working, saying a file not found, dig deep all files are there

ipconfig/all shows netbios disabled, I tried various things, no luck to renable it.

ipconfig /registerdns got error rpc not avialable

remove kaseya agent

remove n-able agent

I have tried netsh winsock reset catalog ... no luck

I should try netsh int ip reset all

eventually netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt did the magic for me.

yeah, I recover a domain controller (PDC) even if there is still errors in AD systemstate (NTBACKUP fail)

the problem with the netbt is that sysvol, netlogon not available, it wont authenticate users, hence exchange users' owa wont work, funny exmerge works.

maybe I should have tried

well, by the time I recovered the whole thing. a new windows 2008 + exchange 2010 systems already be built. it is still good to get something out of it.
