tried to restore a 80GB hard drive image (10G used space) to a 40gb hard drive,
no luck, ghost can do drive shrinking ages ago.

however another thing is with limited success...
pull the hard drive from a dead pc,
put in the target pc, boot from shadow protect cd, image it to a usb drive,
then restore it using hir (hardware independent restore ...)
