why is that? cannot re-install HP laserjet 6p driver on windows xp
user got a printing problem in an app. the hp laserjet 6p is attached via lpt1: to a windows98 PC.
after I deleted the printer in XP, I cannot re-install it, the error is the driver failed to install.
Xp has 6p driver bulitin.
so I have to move windows\driver cache to another folder...
try again, the w-xp will ask for w-xp cd again, then I was able to install the driver.
wot a day, every penny is hard earn
