I just copy / paste comments here
Cloud - Yeah Right!http://www.microsoft.com/en-nz/office365/web-apps.aspx

Need a feature you don't see in the Web Apps? Open documents in the applicable Office desktop application with one click from Office Web Apps to access rich editing features (requires Office Professional Plus 2007 Service Pack 2 or later, Office for Mac 2008 with Entourage 2008 Web Services Edition, or Office for Mac 2011 and Outlook for Mac 2011).

bit sceptical about this tooWe tested Office 365 a couple of months ago, but dropped it cause it was too slow. To have the data centre in Singapore is silly for the nz market. Means two major hops to the server - to the US, then to Singapore and latancy was very evident. It was unusable for us.

I suspect the NZ has simply been identified as an Asian country. Australia no doubt has a direct network to Singapore which makes sence, but NOT nz
