The log collector for Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps is a Docker-based application. It's designed to run on a dedicated server (either physical or virtual) on your network. The log collector receives web traffic logs from your firewall or proxy, processes them, and securely forwards them to Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps for analysis.
