This option allows the organization to:
- Use their existing Session Border Controller (SBC)
- Connect Teams to the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) via their own telephony infrastructure
- Maintain control over call routing, number management, and carrier relationships
Why not the other options?
- ❌ Teams Phone: This is a general term and doesn't specify the PSTN connectivity method.
- ❌ Teams Phone with Calling Plan: This uses Microsoft as the PSTN provider and does not support using your own SBC.
