outlook is funny. skype reported an error accessing an xml file.
But can't run check disk, because upon windows start, an error occurs like "cannot access the hard drive directly".
can't seems to get around the problem to fix the hard drive (samsung 60GB solid state drive). boot from a Hiren 10.0 CD. eventually run chkdsk fix file system errors. backup / delete user profiles, re-build user profile.
however yet to sort out the "cannot run scandisk problem"
