MS SQL 2005 feathure pack and Winodws 7 .... after installation of a SQL app. one of the functions stopped working.
the app support chap told me to install SQL tools. I pop in SQL 2000 CD, but that won't run on W7.
I am told to call all the people around the world to find out, including microsoft.
SQL 2005 mgmt studio seeems to run on W7.
after a tip, it is the MS SQL server 2005 feature pack - Backward compatibilty package I need. this is needed to work with SQL 2000 server. the original error is activex could not create object.
