Symantec endpoint protection SEP 11.0.5, yeah, supposed to handle W7 and w2008 R2.
loaded on mine home windows 2003 machine, updated via my speed-throttled 56kbit ADSL link.
run scan again, it found a dozen trojan/viruses in my downloaded program/utils/cracks.
it is quite amazing as I have scanned those same files using various other anti-virus tools.
that proves again nothing comes free

Oh, I am interested in similar solutions, too. Look at the how to repair .dbf files utility, it parses affected files, backup copies are no longer needed
