Windows 2000 MDAC and SQL server 2005 express ...
configure ODBC for SQL server on a Windows 2000 with Sp4. all the default updates are installed, but ODBC SQL server wizard can't find the sql server properly. manually download MDAC 2.8 w/ sp1. all things are fine.

I prefer the recovery database sqlserver application, developed by another company. I believe that it is the fastest way to open corrupted documents of specified format
