HP mini 50% ~ 100% CPU usage, wmiPrvSe

external mouse not working in Outlook 2007, word wont start, many bizarre things because of the wmiPRVSe is using 50% ~ 100% CPU on the HP mini netbook running w7 pro.

start the process of elimination, disable those non-MS services one by one, eventually disabled part of HP protect tools, some process like hp????? (didn't catch the name), this process related to the finger reader or the builtin camera. this model hasn't got the finger reader, so it may be used for camera for face-recognition

my face wont be used on this netbook hopfefully, so I disabled it to reduce the CPU usage.
